Key Account Sales Manager – BED BATH & BEYOND
The primary role of the Key Account Manager will be to manage Kikkerland’s key account Bed Bath & Beyond. The main objective will be growing the sales for the account and providing our existing sales reps with the tools needed to exceed sales goals. The role will report to the National Sales Manager.

Job Duties
- Partner closely with our sales reps to meet and exceed the revenue goals set for the account
- Negotiate new programs for the account and review the profitability of potential deals with senior management
- Work with our sales agents to develop new business by developing strategies to expand into new categories
- Manage one sales coordinator
- Create quarterly sales reports for the assigned account(s)
- Coordinate key account quotations and provide pricing to the customer in a timely manner
- Travel regularly for meetings with buyers at their premises and at national trade shows
- Attend key company trade shows throughout the year
- Organize and follow-up on all trade show leads with sales reps
- Work with graphic designers and create presentations for sales reps and key account meetings
- Coordinate with product development team on custom product development
- Visit retail stores to understand competitive products, price points, positioning, and understand emerging trends
- Provide a strong level of customer service and embrace the “customer first” attitude that is inherent in Kikkerland

Key Requirements/Attributes
- Minimum of 5 years of experience selling wholesale in the gift or home industry
- Experience selling to Bed Bath and Beyond is a big plus
-Creative skills and aptitude for thinking outside of the box highly desirable
-Ability to multi-task and achieve results in a fast paced organization
-Travel to customer meetings throughout the USA and industry trade shows
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Hands on and customer service oriented. Willing to roll-up sleeves and handle occasional sales admin
-High degree of computer proficiency including MS Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point
-Ability to work in a smaller, team-focused group of employees with diverse backgrounds
-Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field
